Birthmonth Ministry
The mission of the birth month ministry is to share and extend expressions of love, support and Christian fellowship to those in need.
The ministry is comprised of twelve birth month captains who make monthly visits to the sick and shut-in, the Macon Rescue Mission and
to various nursing homes offering our support as a token of love.

Children's Ministry
First Baptist Church values each child that enters into its doors and the children within the community. Our focus is on teaching and equipping students in an exciting environment with the foundational stories,
laws and commandments of Christ, in order to develop Christian disciples. Throughout the year, First Baptist Church hosts a number of events to fill and strengthen our children spiritually and physically including
drama, music, Black history, vacation bible school, Let's Move! Macon 5K Walk/Run, Youth Lock-In, Middle Georgia Food Bank, Rebuilding Macon, and Field Trips. Every 1st, 3rd and 5th Sunday our Children's Ministry
offers a productive learning environment where boys and girls learn God's truth and how it applies to their daily lives. The goal is to
influence children positively to make wise choices and actions with God in mind.

Christian Education
Christian Education is a life-long, Bible-based, Christ-centered process of leading others to Christ. Our primary purpose in Christian Education is to build up in Christ and equip and assist each member of First Baptist
Church to become a mature believer of Jesus Christ through corporate and personal study of God's Word and healthy fellowship with other
believers.

Courtesy Guild
Courtesy Guild members will be Holy Spirit lead and are responsible for providing the church body with upcoming events and information concerning other members, visitors and friends. Additionally, the Courtesy Guild
will provide warm hospitality to special guests at annual and special church programs.

Deaconess Ministry
The Deaconess Ministry consists of women whose husbands are ordained Deacons of First Baptist Church. Their primary responsibility is to undergird and support the Deacon's Ministry by enhancing the spiritual matters
of the church and encouraging the church membership through witness, peace, love and unity. The Deaconess also prepares members for baptism and communion, along with caring for the needs of the church and its members.

Deacons Ministry
The Deacons Ministry of First Baptist Church serves this present age and provides support of the ministry by exercising spiritual leadership in the affairs of the church by worshipping, witnessing, winning souls, relief
of the poor, and visitation of the sick and bereaved.
"Seek out among you seven men of good reputation, full of the Holy Spirit and wisdom, whom we may appoint over this business" Acts 6:3

Heritage Historic Ministry
The Heritage Historic Ministry commemorates and honors our old and current shared experiences through archives of pictures, books,
scripts, plaques, trophies, resolutions and other special memorabilia.

Marriage Ministry
The Marriage ministry promotes oneness in marriage and provides opportunities for marriage enrichment and spiritual guidance through fun, fellowship and faith building programs.

Master's Men Ministry
The Master's Men Ministry endeavors to strengthen, encourage and support men, young men and boys through the teachings of our Savior and Lord,
Jesus Christ. We provide a spiritual support system through Christian education, mission work and Christian fellowship for brothers
in Christ.

The Media Ministry provides quality sound control during worship services and activities of the church. We also make available
audio media of worship services and some other church events.

The music ministry of First Baptist Church uses all that is within to exhalt and praise God, and to edify (build up) the body of
Christ creating an atmosphere of worship and praise through music and song.

New Members Orientation
New members orientation is an extension of the Christian Education Ministry. It is designed to acclimate the new member to the
teachings of the church, and offer relevant classes on church doctrine.

Praise Dance Ministry
The praise dance ministry strives to promote the development and growth of praise and worship expression through anointed dance.
Praise dance is worship by interpreting the Word of God with movement through dance. The Praise Dance Ministry is a ministry that is
open to all who are willing and able to glorify the name of God. "As each one has received a gift, minister it to one another, as good
stewards of the manifold grace of God." (I Peter 4:10). What a privilege it is to express our love for Jesus Christ through movement,
entering into a deeper place and relationship with Him as we dance before Him!

Sisters Inspiring Sisters Ministry
Sisters Inspiring Sisters consists of women and young adult women and is focused on teaching God's grace and mercy so that each woman
may commit herself to faithful service. We minister to the needs of the women so that we may prove to be of Christian support to one
another. Our service extends beyond the walls of the church into the community.

STARS Ministry

Transportation Ministry
Provides transportation to and from the church for Sunday School, worship services, activities, and church related events for
those who otherwise would not be able to attend.

The trustee is dedicated to keeping the house of God in good repair and is responsible for the safe keeping, protection, management,
and maintenance of church properties.

Wednesday's Word Bible Study
"Be diligent to present yourself approved to God, a worker who does not need to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth." II Timothy 2:15 NKJV
Wednesday's Word is an extension of the church's Christian Education ministry to equip the saints through the Word of God and move them
from membership to discipleship. Wednesday's Word is designed to teach the Bible with clarity, offer relevant classes on the Christian
lifestyle, and help believers to grow and strengthen their personal relationship with the Lord.
